When you were a child, I bet you couldn’t wait to grow up. But at some point we all reach a
point of complacency. We’ve done enough. We’ve come far enough. We’re good enough. This
isn’t what scripture teaches at all, nor is it what Christ calls us to do. We are intended to become
JUST LIKE CHRIST, reaching the full stature of maturity in faith. How does this relate to
Christian perfection? To following Christ? To fulfilling our baptismal and membership vows?
